Today is the funeral for #NYPD Officer Didarul Islam at the Parkchester Jame Masjid. There will be two separate viewings for men and women prior to a private prayer service for his family and other dignitaries. He will be buried at a cemetery in New Jersey.

@blackstone @NFL Police sources tell NY1, the alleged shooter was found with a three page suicide note on him. It aired grievances with the #NFL and claimed he had CTE from playing football. The note begged for the alleged shooters brain to be studied.

@blackstone One other woman and another man were also killed in the shooting, but their identities have not yet been made public. A 6th person was shot, but is still being treating at the hospital. According to a memo sent out by the @NFL the surviving victim was one of their employees

Another victim includes @blackstone executive Wesley LePatner. In a statement the company said in part “ words cannot express the devastation we feel.” It went on to say “ she was brilliant, passionate, warm, generous and deeply respected within our firm and beyond.”

The NYPD says immediately upon entering the looking Tamura allegedly opened fire on 36 year old NYPD Officer Didarul Islam. He was working a paid detail in the buildings lobby. He leaves behind two young boys and his pregnant wife.

A small memorial is growing outside of 345 Park Avenue. Last night alleged gunman 27 YO Shane Tamura went inside the building with an M4 riffle killing four others before turning the gun on himself.
