The word of the day is bittersweet, just like today. On the last day of Summer SOAR, we rocked our sports gear & wrapped up with the Beachside Buffet. We bonded fast, laughed hard & worked even harder. Big thanks to Norris, our interns & amazing staff for an unforgettable summer!

Thank you to the Cruz Family for providing this amazing snack cart for our ESY teachers. They are truly some of the most hardworking individuals I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and they absolutely deserve it. We have more surprises planned for our awesome team on Thursday.

Our summer Wildcats look forward to Thursdays as it’s Wildcat Bucks drawing day! We love celebrating students for showing up, showing out, and showing ID. Good behavior, strong attendance, and wearing their badges earn them a shot at sweet rewards or toys 😊.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of a surprise visit from Dr. Peterson and Dr. Pierre Jerome, coordinators for Leadership Development. Their timely visit gave us a great chance to reflect, celebrate growth, and share what we’ve learned. Grateful for their support!

Yesterday, we had an amazing visit from Ms. Hixon, BCPS School Board Chair. We’re truly grateful that she took the time to visit Summer SOAR at The Glen. She enjoyed watching our scholars learn and grow, and we appreciate her encouragement and valuable feedback 😊.
