7/ next time you trade: find support/resistance, place stop there, calculate max 2% risk from that stop, size position accordingly, enter with conviction. that's the entire framework. capital preservation is priority one.

6/ consecutive losses hit different. here's what we do: drop position size temporarily, review the patterns, take a short break. never try to "make it back" with bigger positions. that's how accounts die.

5/ leverage doesn't matter as much as position sizing. 25x with proper sizing beats 2x with reckless sizing. but if you're new, start 2x-5x. you'll learn faster and keep capital to trade again.

4/ on margin: isolated margin locks your risk to what you allocated. cross margin risks your whole account. if you're building habits, use isolated. it's harder to blow everything. that's the point.

3/ the key insight most miss: calculate position size BEFORE you enter. find your stop loss at a technical level. then work backwards to see how many contracts/shares you can afford. order matters.

2/ here's the golden rule: never risk more than 2% of your portfolio on a single trade. not 5%. not 3%. 2%. this is the difference between surviving bad months and losing everything.
