Need a handgun license to be a member. Probably require a background check too. Possibly include retired police. There are over 2 million gun owners in NYS. Homicides, in NY, have been decreasing since 1990. NY gunowners seem fairly safe with their guns & get little credit.

I'm in NY. A driver lic doesnt prevent DUI & handgun lic doesnt prevent crime. The lic restricts certain classes of people. A license creates a privileged class that could potentially offend more easily than unlicensed. Also a method to "tax" & monitor the licensed.

Good point. In the early '60's the songs were around 2 minutes. Then progressed to about 3 minutes. Probably reverting to shorter times as attention spans have become shorter with devices.
