Today was an impactful day - hearing directly from patients & providers about the challenges of prior authorization is tough because their stories are real and relatable. It is also motivating, because we have so much opportunity for collaboration and improvement moving forward.
AHA this morning joined @CMSGov and @InovaHealth to discuss the burdens of the prior authorization process and how we can ensure patients receive needed care in a timely fashion.
