transmonth.org.au
Trans Month occurs every November as a month-long tribute to the strength, joy, and wholeness of our transgender, gender diverse and non-binary communities.
Trans Awareness Week is held in the week leading up to Trans Day of Remembrance to help raise awareness of trans, the issues facing our communities, and the ways people can get involved to improve lives and create a more fair and equal world for everyone. https://t.co/7wbolTlGjG

You donβt meet people like Thomas very often. They leave an indelible mark on you. I met Thomas when he was 17 and leading our β¦@AMEqualityβ© β¦@EqualityAuβ© volunteers in Toowoomba. He was brave, bold and bright. This is just so very sad.

Thomas was an extraordinary young man with an energy and passion for equality was that contagious. I was honoured to work alongside him during the Equality Campaign. And long after his tragic passing, his bravery and commitment will continue to inspire me.

He was instrumental in leading the Toowoomba YES campaign and worked tirelessly as an advocate for equality in his community. Thomas was one of the many inspirational young people across the nation who worked with their communities to shape a better future for us all.
