First time for any @AmericanLegion baseball team in the state of Texas, there was something to drop off in the meeting hall of the unassuming S. Mike Lacy Post 554: an @ALWS_Shelby championship trophy won 1,000-plus miles away in Shelby, North Carolina.

Carpet Land finished the ALWS semifinal with just one hit. But Garrett Springer provided enough offense in one swing to lead the Rugs to the final.
