Today we’re highlighting @HICA_Alabama, or ¡HICA! They are an amazing resource and advocate for Latino communities in Alabama. ¡HICA! serves 3,500+ Latino families every year, and over 85% of their constituents are of low/moderate-income.

The Alabama Department of Public Health’s Comprehensive Cancer Control Program is providing funding for AL Title I public schools’ efforts to install structures that protect students and staff from the sun. The deadline for this grant is August 9th, 2024!
