The more I hunt for a job, the more I realise how privileged I have been to initially be a teacher, then have contacts to draw on, and now… how precarious academia is.

A real reminder today that ‘worksheets’ are fun. Motor skills of cutting and glueing. Plans to colour in when glue is dry. Oh, plus the literacy and numeracy skills.
