This stole my 20s from me and six years later, I am only beginning to feel normal again after chemo and surgeries and other related aftereffects like thyroid shutting down. Doctor told me I couldn’t have kids before I knew if I might die. Can’t lie, I’m bitter.

The tumor became so big it attached to my intestines. But until my body began to shut down, I was simply “depressed” and “exaggerating normal pain”.

Had severe pain my entire life which repeatedly got dismissed by doctors. In my 20s it got so bad my endo caused ovarian cancer, forming a squash-sized tumor. It took the tumor blocking my kidneys, ceasing the ability to urinate, for anyone to find it.
What if I told you there was a disease that tangles a woman’s organs together but the only money we’ve spent trying to figure out why is because sometimes it means she cant get pregnant.
