We are currently studying indigenous art and have created a lovely painting to depict the journey from the story of The Rainbow Serpent. π π ποΈ π¨

We used chocolate to help us understand how the 3 types of rocks are formed. Igneous rocks are formed when magma and lava cools. We then created layers of sediment using grated chocolate. Finally, we added heat and pressure to model metamorphic rocks forming. πͺ¨ π₯ π«π #science

We are learning to recognise adjectives within a descriptive paragraph. We will then use this model text to write our own detailed character descriptions, based on the characters in our new Pathways book. ππ

We have been busy exploring colour through the use of watercolour paint. We now know what primary, secondary and tertiary colours are. We investigated how different shades could be created through the mixing of different colours. π¨ ποΈ π
