The night before Thanksgiving is traditionally one of the most popular bar nights of the year. Remember to designate a sober driver or utilize ride share programs. AAA is once again offering their Tow to Go program. If you are too impaired to drive, you may call 855-2-TOW-2-GO.

The dedication and reopening ceremony for Butler Rd took place today. The road was also given an honorary name as Glenn McIntosh Way, named for Dr. Glenn McIntosh, the Vice President of Student Affairs at Oakland University who passed away earlier this year.

Wake up in a frenzy and can’t find your little buddy? Have no fear, a citizen called us about a dog located near Southampton/Crofthill this morning shortly after midnight. If this pup belongs to you, it was transported to Oakland County Animal Control to stay warm for the night.

It looks like winter weather is here! This is your reminder that four wheel drive doesn’t mean four wheel stop! Bridges and side streets will ice before main roads. Slow down and keep a generous stopping distance between you and the vehicles in front of you. #ItsOnlyNovember9th

Our personnel were happy to assist with this beautiful moment! A healthy baby boy who was born at 7:34am on M59 near Squirrel Rd. This job is always unpredictable but calls like these are very rewarding. Congratulations! https://t.co/VLLBBY3BKX

An unpredictable delivery for one Metro Detroit mom and dad - as a newborn boy couldn't wait to come into the world at the hospital.
