Talk about the union difference. At Chicago’s Museum of Science & Industry, 120 workers won significant raises, holiday pay, and other improvements in their first union contract. The workers formed their union with AFSCME Council 31 in July 2023.

Regina Henderson isn’t just a cashier in dining services at Rutgers University. She’s a supportive co-worker and respectful team leader. She serves with care— the same care she’d want her own children to be treated with. That’s solidarity in action.

Water treatment workers are on the clock 24/7 making sure our drinking water is safe and free from harmful chemicals. These public sector jobs deserve dignity, respect, and adequate funding.
