Last week in Nebbi, the SIYEP Program Implementation Unit and staff held orientation and onboarding. The team explored AFARDβs values and reflected on SIYEPβs goal to train 10,000 rural young women and support 7,000 into dignified work in partnership with Mastercard Foundation.

AFARD farmer groups visited each other to see how their fellows are winning the fight against climate change. From kitchen gardens to fuel-saving stoves, they learned solutions they can take home, and hope they can pass on because when farmers share knowledge, resilience grows.
