On 10/9, three @stonybrooku students had the opportunity to see the @Orsted #SouthForkWind Farm off the coast of Long Island. The students sailed 35 miles for a tour of the #OffshoreWindFarm, whose studies are directly related to #OffshoreWindPower.

Last week, AERTC and @NYClimEx held a joint event on #GovernorsIsland during #NYCClimateWeek. The event featured presentations and a panel discussion about #ClimateSolutions from industry experts, including @BCEnergy , @nationalgrid , @NYBatteryEnergy , @EPRINews , & @ConEdison.

We held our first cohort session of the #OWTI in the new #HVDCTraining lab last week. Sponsored by the OWTI, the cohort brought together 20 students from @SUNYSFLK interested in the growing #OffshoreWind field. The next cohort session will be held on 9/20 in the AERTC building
