The difference between a thought and a product is execution. It is time to get started folks!

Always note what audience you are talking too. Some engineers will say "production is broke" when there is some functionality missing. Don't say this to your manager. Their heads might explode.

I am just going to keep reading about how GPUs are being built and how self-attention came to be. β¨Take a look at the free Dive into Deep Learning book https://t.co/0nP3L65UCZ.

Cursor added planning mode. I was getting frustrated with todos because I thought that was their planning mode. That was not the case. Check out planning mode ->

Does your brain go fast too? Like I am sitting here thinking about the next two steps that I have to build out while focusing on the current step.

Yesterday I said LLMs are not like puppy training, but I was wrong. Just like dogs need clear commands, LLMs need precise prompts. When we are vague with either, we get unexpected results, then blame the dog or the AI. The key is learning to communicate effectively.

There's no relationship between raising puppies and LLMs. However, we did get a new puppy! Her name is Delphie and she is a 6 month old McNab/BorderCollie mix.

It happened to me. It will happen to you too. I lost 2 hrs of coding. Luckily, I did regular version control. Highly recommend when using LLMs.

LLMs are a great way to stretch your personal skills without any pressure e.g. I sometimes have a hard time with saying no but with LLMs I have to say no A LOT.

LLMs quit easily. Oh can't install that library? let's just not use it. I have to watch them like a hawks π I can't imagine people coding with multiple agents right now.

Garmin, oura, all the likes. I wonder if any of them can sense like constant stress levels. I mean the I have had childhood trauma kind. I know that might be asking a lot but for those of us who are in a constant state of vigilance, how would we know what are healthy state is?

Great code surprisingly still requires thought. LLMs won't do it for you.
