Warner Bros. France has recently leaked the French version of the teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action/animated hybrid film "TOM & JERRY" right here:
Coming soon to worldwide theaters on March 5, 2021, by Warner Bros. Pictures and produced by Warner Animation Group.
The whole story of COYOTE VS. ACME has just been leaked.
I repeat: The WHOLE plot, beat by beat, has been leaked.
Even by Looney Tunes standards, it is absolutely LOONEY. It ticks me off how WB would cancel such a perfect celebration to these characters.
This episode is one of the many reasons why I don't blame those who hate the Post-Hillenburg era of SpongeBob seasons and episodes.
Patrick? More like "Patprick".
The Big Chungus gag of Space Jam: A New Legacy was actually funny, because the context was explicitly referencing the original gag from Wabbit Twouble where Bugs Bunny was mocking Elmer Fudd.
It wasn't desperate for memes, and the animator behind it never even heard of the meme.
Gabriel Iglesias' celebrity name status was big that he got cast in Space Jam 2 to voice Speedy Gonzales. WB executives asked him to trade Speedy's voice for his natural voice.
Iglesias refused, emphasizing that he wanted people to HEAR and SEE Speedy, when they think of Speedy.
That award show ceremony skit from Uncle Grandpa was, basically, Cartoon Network mocking the Kids' Choice Awards constantly having SpongeBob SquarePants win the Best Animated Show award.
So, Craig McCracken's reboot of THE POWERPUFF GIRLS is confirmed to be following Disney's direction with the DuckTales reboot. Where the reboot is more of a serialized storyline with episodes and seasons of continuity, rather than being episodic like the original.
Interesting...
Here's the remainders of the plot leak. It is absolutely BONKERS and perfectly adds up.
Dr. Lorre, the Peter Lorre scientist from "Hair-Raising Hare", even has a supporting role in the story. Foghorn Leghorn is the head of ACME's products.

To this day, Frozen still gets billions of people talking about it.
Yet, the amazing Mickey Mouse cartoon that played before it doesn't get a single person talking about it.
"3D animation sucks! I hate it! Even if CGI takes less time to animate, it still can't be able to amazingly replicate the look and spirit of REAL 2D animation."
I (politely) beg to differ. Give it a chance.
I'm really digging Pixar's new direction they're taking in.
Their films now have a sense of variety with their stories, stakes, visual style, animation and dynamics that stand out from one another.
Taking new steps is risky, but, it's what I wanted to see from Pixar in a while.
Dick Figures creator (Ed Skudder) is going to be the Head of Story for the upcoming animated SUPER MARIO BROS. movie from Illumination.
Yes. This is real news.
@Car10s3306
It would've been good, if it kind of played like a mystery where SpongeBob investigates what happened to the population of Bikini Bottom.
Instead, it turned out that it's full of horrible people AND horrible friends who don't appreciate SpongeBob, despite being largely helpful.
The Mario movie might end up being Illumination's "The Peanuts Movie" moment.
A big-budget adaptation that breaks new ground in visual styles for their production studios that even turn out as great tributes to their material. Also thanks to their fathers supervising production.
Coyote vs. ACME is not the only Looney Tunes theatrical film to get axed by WB.
For some reason, WB also shelved a Pepé Le Pew film (with a leaked script), a Speedy Gonzales film that also understood the character, and a Marvin the Martian film.
The Looney Tunes deserve better.
Coyote vs. ACME has to be saved.
There's no better concept for a movie than Wile E. Coyote suing the ACME Corporation over how much their products injured him and failed him upon his pursuit after the Road Runner.
It's a perfect addition to the Looney Tunes franchise we needed.
I really love HBO Max's new Looney Tunes Cartoons, as much as the rest of you do. But, even as an avid Looney Tunes fan... this is absolute PEAK of everything I'd love in a modern Looney Tunes cartoon.
Words can't describe how perfectly timed everything is, from start to finish.
@HarrisDamn
Speedy Gonzales has never been an offensive stereotype. People merely critique the accent but ignore that Speedy has the characteristics of a mouse with a Robin Hood archetype who serves the poor in Mexico.
He should be considered a heroic figure for Hispanics than a stereotype.
The whole "de-aging the characters" trend is such a corporate-friendly attempt to target a younger demographic.
Decades after Muppet Babies, the trope is still alive, with shows like Kamp Koral and Madagascar: A Little Wild.
Tiny Toon Adventures is the only attempt that worked.
Do you want to know why The Peanuts Movie ended up being great and even better than possible? Thank Charles Schulz's estate for that. As they were overseeing its entire production.
The exact same thing is going on with the Mario movie, with Nintendo AND Shigeru Miyamoto himself.
The leaked plot of Coyote vs. ACME was real!!
-Wile E. Coyote sues ACME and files legal complaints with the help of Paige (Lana Condor).
-ACME try to find Road Runner to testify.
-"That's All Folks" written on the windshield of Kevin Avery's car.
-Albuquerque Carrot Festival.
@ZackConroy2
@AllenMarson
SpongeBob may have zero continuity, but the characters and their personalities have long remained consistent for three seasons and a movie.
@Punkypine
In those episodes, he did it only because needed time for himself (which is normal for best friends) or because he wasn't needed to be in the episode much.
Here, he does it, out of malice of how much he clearly doesn't care about SpongeBob. Which is completely out of character.
The one thing about the upcoming theatrical animated Super Mario Bros. movie I hear nobody ever talk about is how perfect Kamek/Magikoopa's voice just sounds and how it perfectly fits the character.
Who, fun fact, is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.
People are overreacting about Chris Pratt as Mario. I love the fact that he's doing his own unique New York Italian Mario voice, than trying way too hard to copy Charles Martinet. Which isn't even Pratt's voice.
The film even confirmed that Mario and Luigi are Brooklyn Italians.
@Angel84816921
I'll still watch the actual movie, to see the execution. :)
Plus, I'm a huge sucker for the Looney Tunes and congratulate the creative team. I'll support it, no matter what.
This bit from Space Jam: A New Legacy remains my favourite scene of the movie. The way every Looney Tunes character was used for a collection of great gags felt like it came from a cartoon with them together.
I also love the Lovelorn Leghorn reference, on Foghorn Leghorn's part.
Repeat after me. Animation is a beautiful medium that uses art to convey ANY story of ANY genre for ANY age group. Even WITH the use of live-action.
It's not a genre for kids, and I'm sick of people treating it as such. Even family-friendly animated content can appeal to adults.
The animation is another underrated aspect of the Mario movie. This scene is one of my favorite examples.
Mario and Luigi feel like they came STRAIGHT out of their respective games, even by the attention-to-detail on their movements.
It's clear the people behind it love the IP.
As funny and timeless as everyone finds the South Park running joke where Kenny McCormick dies in such over-the-top ways, I personally love it more when the writers actually do something with Kenny.
One major example is him being such an amazingly wholesome big brother to Karen.
Warner Bros. spends $200 million on a Joker sequel. Great, because DC is also one of their most beloved properties.
But, they can't afford to release a $70 million movie co-starring the LOONEY TUNES? Their LITERAL mascots?
Marc Anthony says it best here...

The leaked plot for "Coyote vs. ACME" is beyond LOONEY.
We could've had a legal drama where Wile E. Coyote sues the ACME Corporation over the countless damages their products caused him.
A perfect theatrical comeback for the Looney Tunes!

I love how we're officially reaching a timeline where 3D animation can be so stylized, to the point of even perfectly replicating the original spirit of 2D animation.
I miss good ol' 2D animation, as much as the next guy. But, this is definitely a creative way to help revive it.
Here's a leaked screenshot of the final version for "Coyote vs. ACME", which shows Road Runner in the desert.
It's much like Tom & Jerry, which also combined live-action with 3D animation that mimics the classic 2D style and animation.
It's BEAUTIFUL!!! 😍

Why?
The Looney Tunes matter. They're legends who redefined the state of animation, and without them, WB would be nothing.
Wile E. Coyote suing ACME is also the perfect sequel to every Road Runner cartoon, AND it's the greatest possible concept for a film.
Release Coyote vs. ACME, you jackholes.
You should NOT do the Looney Tunes dirty. They're even the reason you're successful and HAVE a legacy in the first place.
A 100th year celebration of your legacy SHOULD include your beloved mascots.

The trailer for "Coyote vs. ACME" was supposed to be out on October 30, 2023, which means it was set to release in late January or early February.
If WB still treated the Looney Tunes with respect, this controversy would've NEVER happened.

Warner Bros.: "We are the only pure storytelling company in the industry."
Also WB: *cancels an anticipated movie co-starring their mascots and most popular characters, the LOONEY TUNES, who also helped evolve the studio, for a tax rebate*

Apparently, the leaked plot of Coyote vs. ACME was accurate.
I can't believe that WB, the PARENTS of the Looney Tunes, axed the perfect theatrical film that beautifully reflected the franchise's absurdity and characters, for money.
We were ROBBED of Congressman Elmer Fudd!!! :(
"The Mario movie will suck! It's produced by Illumination!"
Guess what? Spider-Verse was also produced by the same studio behind THE EMOJI MOVIE, of all films...
Knowing the film was supervised by Nintendo and the franchise's own creator, I'm sure they know what they're doing.
Seth MacFarlane does an amazing job at convincing me regarding how much funnier and more comedically-unhinged fight sequences are without any background music scoring the scene.
From "Ted (2012)".
After reading the leaked plot of Coyote vs. ACME, I'm heartbroken.
Having a perfect theatrical comeback for Looney Tunes since their classic shorts, with a movie that BEAUTIFULLY reflects the franchise's characters and logic-defying satire, be erased for a write-off, sickens me.
To any of you still worrying about Charles Martinet, keep in mind that he himself loved the final cut of the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie and is anticipated for fans and audiences to see it.
That alone is a green flag.
If "Coyote vs. ACME" gets permanently deleted, a true hero should just leak the entire film on here.
It's our only hope for it to be publicly released, at this point, if the literal parents of the Looney Tunes (WB) won't release an anticipated movie co-starring the Looney Tunes.
Release Coyote vs. ACME already. And show some respect for the Looney Tunes.
A beloved franchise and characters who have both remained synonymous with animation AND were mascots who helped move the studio forward, you neglectful dickheads.

Did the animators behind the
#SuperMarioBrosMovie
deliberately design Mario as reference to how he looked in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show?
This just makes Chris Pratt's voice even more fitting for this iteration of Mario. The more I think about it...
Cleverly well-played...
2D animation is back and is still alive, and "SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY" is here to prove it. By quietly revealing Bugs Bunny's final design in the film:
Coming soon to worldwide theaters on July 16, 2021, by Warner Bros. Pictures and produced by Warner Animation Group.
"Male romance lovers like Pepé Le Pew should be canned and shouldn't be tolerated in family-friendly franchises! They promote sexual assault and rape culture!"
But, when the same scenario happens with characters of the opposite sex, THAT'S when it doesn't become any problematic?
Concept art for "Coyote vs. ACME":
The first nods to "Fast and Furry-ous" (1949).
The second nods to "Hip-Hip-Hurry!" (1958).
The third nods to "Lickety-SPLAT!" (1961).
The fourth nods to "Beep Prepared" (1961).
The movie has MANY references to classic Looney Tunes cartoons.
With all these screenshots I found from Coyote vs. ACME, I hope someone is heroic enough to leak it, in response to WB's negligence of their own mascots.
I wanted a theatrical film that does justice to the Looney Tunes, and I'll fight for it to be released.
#ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme
Just found some concept art, for the upcoming theatrical animated GARFIELD movie. With Chris Pratt voicing the titular character and Mark Dindal directing the movie.
It looks bloody FANTASTIC, and 100% true to Jim Davis' comic style. I hope the finished product lives up to this.
THE SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE is a videogame movie that 100% embraces itself as one, and I absolutely loved it.
It's a BIG love letter to the games that brilliantly takes advantage of the lore: Sound effects, action, humor, heart, music, references, characters, and worldbuilding.
@BambooIGuess
Uncle Grandpa was a fantastic show that was ahead of its time. People have a thing against episodic shows because they aren't serialized.
It's the same thing with Owl House and Big City Greens.
I think "Once Upon a Studio" should be a feature-length movie.
I'd pay to see full-length interactions and team-ups with the characters, baked into a high-stakes plot that could even potentially tackle themes like the decline of 2D animation at Disney.
Please. Take the risk. :3
While the Mario movie was still in production, Charlie Day and Seth Rogen immediately expressed interest in reprising as Luigi and Donkey Kong. For a Luigi's Mansion movie AND a Donkey Kong spin-off movie.
Which are promised to actually happen soon, if the Mario movie does well.
As a lifelong Looney Tunes fan, growing up memorizing the classics, "Coyote vs. ACME" was always my most anticipated film to see in 2023.
It still is, in 2024.
A passion project with artistic integrity and love for the IP should release.
