Currently in my local having a beer and a dinner. There is a 40-something couple on a first date and she is one of the Covid conspiracy theorists and an anti-vaccer. She has literally spent the last 45 minutes haranguing him about her beliefs. Genuinely feel sorry for the chap

Staying in a pub on the IoW overnight. Tonight is their bingo night. They take it seriously here. Lady started calling & the entire bar literally went silent & still in a split second. I thought there had just been a major gas leak into the bar or something, but no, just bingo.
