Une erreur de transfert de données avait interpolé dans sa mémoire épisodique une séquence de souvenirs issue d'un autre cerveau. Il refusa de les faire effacer et passa le reste de sa vie à chercher une femme qu'il n'avait jamais connue mais qu'il se rappelait avoir tant aimée.
