The proposed cuts in the budget bill would kick nearly 11 million people off their health insurance, including cancer patients. You can't put a price on people's lives. @SenHydeSmith , can I count on you to vote NO? #ProtectAffordableCare #ProtectMedicaid

Thank you @BennieGThompson for voting against the House bill that will decimate #Medicaid & kick 8.6 million people off insurance. Supporting this lifesaving program—& the cancer patients, children & so many more who rely on it for health care—is the right thing to do.

Tens of thousands of @ACSCAN advocates urged the House Energy & Commerce Committee to reconsider Medicaid cuts that impact millions. Despite this, lawmakers who voted for these cuts chose to support the loss of health coverage for those with no other affordable options.

Tim went years without going to the doctor because he didn't have health coverage – and ended up with a cancer diagnosis. Mississippians like Tim can't afford to wait for health insurance #CloseMScoveragegap #msleg

For too many Mississippians, quality, affordable health coverage and mental health care is out of reach. When people are struggling with their mental health, we should encourage them to get help, not burden them with debt. #CloseMScoveragegap #msleg

Like many Mississippians, Brandon doesn't get health insurance through his job. He literally can’t afford to get sick or injured. Our hardworking friends and neighbors should have access to affordable coverage. #CloseMScoveragegap https://t.co/ikVMMBPPPo

Without insurance, too many Mississippians like John are delaying check ups. But jobs with good money and insurance are hard to find in Mississippi. That’s why it’s important to #CloseMScoveragegap to make Medicaid available to our friends and neighbors.
