Staff thanked the Minister for the recent provincial budget and the government’s continued investment in infrastructure.

YAY! It's Advocacy Friday!. Today, ACEC-Ontario staff attended a post budget breakfast with the Hon. Peter Bethlenfalvy (Minister of Finance).

Discussions at the event covered various challenges and opportunities posed by AI, including ethical implications, the future of work, and legal implications of its use. As a result of this summit, OACETT will develop an AI framework to provide industry guidance on AI usage.

Lastly, the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) hosted a summit focused on the future of AI.

It is crucial to highlight this kind of innovation now to inspire the next generation of engineering students. We look forward to collaborating further to showcase this important work in the future.
