Multiplying decimals? Stop guessing! Teach this 3-step flow. ✅ 1. Estimate: 2.3 × 4.5 ≈ 2 × 4.5 = ~9 → eliminate answers that are nowhere close. 2. Ignore decimals: 23 × 45 = 1035 (ends in 5 → quick eliminations). 3. Insert decimals: 2 decimal places over → 10.35
