Tbf.. not very surprising considering US population is over 70%+ white.. a secondary axis (although crowded) factoring in general population by race (or more accurate; applicants to those jobs by race) would give more context .. [Julie would be so proud of me☺️]

It's good to visualize your data but you also need some more statistical background info. Like how many ppl attend uni regarding "race"/gender (sry but race is just an awful term, there are no such things as race) + the statistics about the distribution of US population

This is pretty damning but I feel like without data on application rates and also qualified applicants it's lacking.
But I agree there's a blatantly obvious bias in the system.
