🧪Last eDNA sample of the season!💧. This year we collected samples from 30 #AB waterbodies to test for aquatic invaders like zebra mussels, Prussian carp, Eurasian watermilfoil + more. HUGE thx to @UofAResearch & @ConserveAlberta for supporting this work to protect #ABwaters!

🚨Flattened Rush found for the 1️⃣st time in #AB!. Found at Halfmoon Lake boat launch (north of #yeg), this is a good reminder of how easily #invasivespecies can hitch a ride!. This species is NOT listed but it can invade sensitive calcareous fens & displace native sp - report it!
