Volunteers needed in Berkshire – help a child learn to read! Could you spare a little time each week to change a child’s future? Award winning charity, ABC to read is looking for volunteers to support local primary school children who are struggling with reading.

We are grateful to @UnitedWay UK and Intuitive Surgical Limited for supporting us to create literacy kits for the children we support in schools. For helping us give children the tools and encouragement they need to grow as readers.

Yesterday, ABC to read held volunteer Christmas coffee mornings across Berkshire to thank our vounteers for their work this year and to give them time together as a group. The rooms were full of festive volunteers enjoying a relaxed social, talking about the children they support
