Yesterday, a federal appellate court ruled that states can protect their residents from the harms of abortion drugs beyond the minimal regulations set by the FDA. This is a WIN for our pregnant & preborn patients, whose lives and health are endangered by unregulated mifepristone.
🚨Don't sleep on the Fourth Circuit's decision today re whether a state can restrict abortion drugs. In other words, when the fed govt has approved a drug to be on the market, can a state nonetheless ban it? CA4 says YES. This is huge. The court - in the first federal.
