Local flight nurse honored for reaching career milestone - Barbara Sawyer was recognized Thursday for achieving 3,000 flights with the Mountain Area Medical Airlift (MAMA). That's more than any nurse in the history of the program.
The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance is the first in the UK to launch this mental health initiative. The 33 staff members are being asked to fill out an anonymous questionnaire every month to encourage discussions about mental health.
