Not many groundbreaking advances in LLM context lengths lately. I expected more progress after Meta’s 10M context milestone, but it seems like not many are excited about it.

Been thinking.. AI agents might find their real playground inside browsers. Not just search-but how we move through the web, get stuff done, stay in flow. Feels like browsers, the so-called face of the internet, haven’t really evolved in years. Maybe this is where the next wave.

Some questions triggered by the release of DeepSeek R1 on January 20. These are formulated as questions, because I do not know the answers and it may well be that most of these answers are only things we can find out over time. First, perhaps the most important question is this:

I wouldn’t have believed it if u’d told me a year ago that an open-source model cld disrupt the market nd erase a trillion dollars. It’s ironic how things change. LLMs seem to be going mainstream—I see more people reaching out about them. As far as I can tell, that’s a good sign.

Psychedelics: I believe governments worldwide might legalize psychedelics like LSD and others for medical and therapeutic purposes, unlocking new possibilities for mental health treatments.

Crypto: AI agents could become the next big trend in crypto. These agents, already outperforming human traders, might create meme coins, pump them, and exit with profits—a fascinating shift in the space.

AI: Agentic AI will become a major breakthrough, adopted by companies and integrated into daily tasks for consumers. Text-to-video tech will advance so much that we could create movie scenes, and with longer context windows, maybe even full documentaries or movies!

I’m currently exploring multiple domains and not sure how long I’ll stick around in each, but here’s what I think could happen by 2025:
