Yesterday, I was pleased to serve as a panelist for the SB County Superintendent of Schools Students Advisory. The students showcased their talents through impressive presentations. It is clear that these students have bright futures ahead of them in their schools and community.

This morning, we had the pleasure of hosting SBC Sup of Schools Ted Alejandre & other SBCSS Reps visited Colton HS to support our Avid program. CJUSD Sup. Dr. Miranda & Assist. Sup. Dr. Ortiz & Dr. Petersen also attended. The visit with the Avid Students was exceptional.

Today I had the pleasure of attending the Grow, Bloom & Thrive Summit at the University of Redlands, led by the exceptional team of SB County Superintendent of School, which proved to be an inspiring day filled with Guest Speakers, activities, networking and Food 😁. Thank you!

Young Visionaries in San Bernardino successfully hosted their annual Winter Wonderland celebration, with Santa Rudolph & the Grinch in attendance. The event was a huge success, spreading joy & smiles among all attendees, thanks to the dedication of Terrance Stone & the YV Team.

This evening I had the honor to participate in a Food giveaway Drive thru at Rialto High School. It was so much fun to see so many families, get free Groceries and Gifts for the Holidays. Thank you for the invite. ❤️ More pictures to come.

I am Honored to be part of this Coalition that brings education on the dangers of Vaping in our Children & young youth. I have had the opportunity to be part of this Coalition since it started & we have achieved success in passing Tobacco Retailing Licences in many of our cities.

27th Annual Make a Child Smile event was held at Walmart in S. Colton this morning. Our sincere appreciation goes out to our courageous firefighters for continually bringing happiness to CJUSD students. Santa Claus was in attendance, joining in the celebration with the students.

CRY-ROP'S Counselors Roadshow. This morning we toured the different Pathways at Bloomington High. I am always impressed by the Students' enthusiasm and knowledge in the Pathway Course. Thank you to the CRY-ROP Team and Ambassadors for being outstanding hosts and Leaders.

I want to Thank Water Education for Latino Leaders (WELL) the great opportunity to learn, become aware of the water world & to become a stronger Leader. It was an honor these past 5 months to be part of this cohort of elected officials which I now call Familia. Thank you.

Thursday Washington High had their Wellness Garden Kick-off & Resource fair. It was great to see all of the Students engaged & asking questions. Plus Principal Torres, Mr. Castro from our Mental Wellness Department & myself got to plant an Apple tree which we named Washington.
