My name is Ahmed. I’m a Palestinian from Gaza, and a father of three.

Today is my little princess’s first day at school after two years of war, with a beautiful smile. Tasneem🌸 came gently: "Amoola💗, I want to go with you!" She imitates her in everything, and their tiny hands hold onto hope, as if saying: We are here, and we will begin anew🌟.

This piece is precious to my heart❤️. I made it for my little Amal before the war when she joined KG1. The war stole her childhood. Now she’s grown and starting school. I’ll make her a new one in Palestine’s colors, and I’ll keep teaching my children about it🇵🇸.

Even the cats🐈 in Gaza are hungry and thirsty. This cat has come to us since the first famine , always finding her way back. We share what little food and water we have, for mercy is all we have left amid the ruins❤️🩹.

We tried to enroll Diya in kindergarten, but it was full. He was very sad🥹, dreaming only of learning and playing. As for me, I worry: will we find a nearby kindergarten, when Al-Mawasi lacks learning centers? My child’s dream is to learn, after two years of genocide💔.

We’re grateful to all who stood by us during the war🌟, but what came after was even harsher. The struggle continues, and we still need your kind hearts to keep going for my children🫂.

My little girl, Amal❤️🩹, is sick and struggles to breathe in the cold of the tent. Yet despite her weakness, she insisted on going to register at the learning center. She’s small, but her heart is full of dreams. Amal… her name is life, even through the pain🌟.

Our laundry never dries , as if sorrow weighs down the water, and exhaustion lives within the folds of the cloth. We dream of a simple life , a warm home, a nearby school, and laughter unafraid of tomorrow. We do not ask for much , only a little dignity, and a lot of mercy.

Every day, we struggle to light the fire, as if we are kindling life itself, fearing it might fade before our meager meal is cooked.

My children grew up with dust instead of dreams , their school is a tent, their notebook of hope is torn. They play with sand, building homes the wind destroys , just as the war has done to us.

The colors of Palestine aren’t just on a flag; they’re in sunsets, embroidery, and endless courage.
