Microsoft Teams Speaker Coach. I noticed this in my Teams today. Gives you feedback on “filler words” and “repetitive language” in your speech in meetings. Does it have a “stutter mode”? https://t.co/x6ZDeaQlpM

Hi @SaraMohrPietsch I really enjoyed your Around Midnight Night Tracks on BBC3 last night. I appreciated what you said about coming back to the breath and meditation. Thanks.

“Stuttering openly can be an act of civil disobedience” - Chris Constantino. Stammering is political. @stutterverse
A friend shared this with me tonight and oh my goodness how much it resonates. ‘Resilience’ is not to be celebrated when it comes at personal cost. Why not change the environments that require personal resilience?

(2/2) … “But for all my years of reading conversation, I stand without a word to say / And my hands shake, my head hurts, My voice sticks inside my throat, I'm invisible and dumb, And no-one will recall me”. Bowie forever ♾

“…closing down instead of allowing ourselves to experience fully whatever we encounter, without hesitating or retreating into ourselves.” I’m not referring to stammering going away, but perhaps the struggle with stammering. #StammeringGain

“Perhaps there is no solid obstacle except our own need to protect ourselves from being touched. If we run a hundred miles an hour to the other end of the continent in order to get away from the obstacle, we find the very same problem waiting for us when we arrive”.

Hi @Patrick1992C Did I remember you had an alternative definition of stammering recently?

Hey @rickoshea I’d never heard the Art Garfunkel version of “waters of March” but I knew a french version by Stacey Kent which is really good. It’s actually a Brazilian song.

Quick follow up- reached out to my course director and they’re really happy to accommodate me however I want. Most importantly they will take it on board in future for others too! #StammeringGain

From #StammeringPride&Prejudice I now recognise this as unconsciously ableist and potentially exclusionary for all people whose speech that doesn’t suit. So I’m gonna call it out - in the nicest possible way of course. 🙏 @Patrick1992C @redefinestammer

In both my work and college people are giving end of year presentations. I’m noticing a trend of “lightning talks” or timed talks where you’ve got 5 minutes to give your presentation and even “30 second warnings”. #FluentPrivilege

Making my way through this. Sucks that I wasn’t there. So good to see people stammering. What a time to be alive. @Patrick1992C @NoraTB2 Challenging Stuttering Stereotypes https://t.co/67zlxndSgO via @YouTube
