Moving the majority of my inventory to the retail shop on Monday and then I'll be installed there all day everyday (15 W Highland in Chestnut Hill Philadelphia). These photos show the random assortment we carted over pre-moving day. Official opening day 10/10.

I have books piled on the floor and every surface of my in-progress shop, but window shoppers still ask if I'm open and seem like they would be content to come in and shop. This is very heart-warming and I thank centuries of booksellers for normalizing chaos.

Something I recommend not trying: fulfilling online orders when your inventory is packed randomly into hundreds of boxes.
