Somewhat a cellular enthusiast. I support 4 MNO’s but now it’s mainly 3. RIP to the Boost 5G network

ATT QCI 8 doing good after the additional 3.45GHz from EchoStar. They currently have 80+40+40 not 80+80 due to Colombia Capital holding the E & F block 3.45GHz. ATT also has 10-15MHz n5 online for a total of 175MHz 5G SA. Speedtest: 5G NSA Via @USMobile DarkStar.

Since Mike kelly has spent so much time beating up Ergen on his hoarding of spectrum I thought it might be good to explain why I believe Mike has some responsibility for @boostmobile Network failure. As I told Mike in a meeting in @dish @EchoStar HQ when he first joined he

I think EchoStar could’ve survived a little longer (2-3 years) if they just sold 3.45GHz to AT&T (or at least lease to ATT) and Dish Network to DirectTV like they were going to previously. They would’ve had at least 10-18B to spend on wireless without having to worry about debt.

@yellmapper @Broke_Sim @DarkenMoon_ You wouldn’t believe me if I said Dish works better in my county where they have service than AT&T. A few standalone towers where no one covers good but them

I think that’s a wrap on the boost Mobile 5G network. It was my preferred network at times.

How do you guys think Verizon will react to AT&T’s potential 250MHz of nationwide 5G spectrum over the next 2-3 years? - 100MHz 3.45GHz (Will need to buy rest of 3.45GHz) - 80MHz 3.7GHz (Available) - 50MHz 4.9GHz for FirstNet (Not deployed) - 20MHz 600MHz (Not deployed)

If AT&T is going to build out 600MHz, I think they should start in areas they have zero 850MHz. They can launch VoNR on n71 & n5 nationwide 5G SA and use n2/n66/n77 for capacity. Ex: Phoenix, AZ ATT has zero 850MHz licenses & in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

@4USCarriers @Just1nMKE @peter_adderton @ATT @boostmobile @EchoStar @BrendanCarrFCC @FCC Indeed, the shutdown marks the end of an era for Boost's standalone 5G network, which offered unique SA capabilities. As a hybrid now, it'll leverage AT&T and T-Mobile for wider reach—hopefully maintaining strong performance.

The Boost 5G network is back online in South Florida after going off for a network update. I can’t confirm but I think midband n70’s power may have been boosted because speeds have gotten better indoors. #BoostMobile #5G #Dish5G #EchoStar #4thCarrier #Boost5G #Boost5G #Florida
