During our Youth Council for Peace and Development (YCPD) launch yesterday, 4-H Zimbabwe executive director, John Muchenje presented on peace as a key enabler of youth development, stating that in peaceful environments, youth have a safe space to learn and express themselves.

Today we launched our first provincial Youth Council for Peace & Development (YCPD) in Masvingo Province. The YCPD is an inclusive engagement platform that comprises youth from 11 different political parties, & is meant to foster discussions on leadership, peace & development.

Our Executive Director today led an inspiring Career Guidance session at Bradford Private School, where he encouraged young people to dream boldly, plan purposefully, and pursue their passions with discipline and resilience.

We believe that what happens after the harvest is just as important. Through our post-harvest training, farmers learn how to reduce losses, properly dry and store crops, and add value to their produce. This means more food, more income, and stronger, climate-smart communities!
