Congrats to @4APP_Sports pitching academy member @OakesKenyon. In the last year, he’s gone from avg 83/85 top 86 to avg 87/89 top 90. Never misses meetings. Always asking questions, learning, and putting in the work. Colleges should be lining up to sign this kid.

The hamstring's most significant contribution in throwing is seen during the rotation and block phases. When the drive leg internally rotates (via the semimembranosus/semitendinosus) and the hip extends/externally rotates, the hammy plays a crucial role in accelerating rotation.

The hamstring acts as a hip extensor, an internal (knee) and external (femur) rotator, and a knee flexor. It plays a key role in stabilizing the hip and knee during a single-leg stance, as well as during the drop and block phases of the throwing motion.
