a Nick Richards to Denver trade makes tons of sense imo. a singular 2nd round pick (2032) for Richards doesn’t sound like a lot of value, but Phoenix dumping 5 mil while they’re trying to duck the 2nd apron is a big win.

if Valanciunas is indeed leaving the NBA by way of giving up his entire 10 million contract in a buyout, he automatically becomes an extremely valuable trade piece. Denver could probably snag a good player on a multiyear deal that a team wants to just straight salary dump.

Knicks have been such a sleeper team this offseason. kept their core 7 guys while adding Yabusele and Clarkson. they’re going to have a 9 deep rotation of legitimate good rotation players.
