Didn’t like Darker Shade unfortunately. Lila’s character was insufferable. But cool concept overall and an easy read. 2(ish) stars. Onto our next SPFBO read!

Monte Cristo took me the whole month! Overall I’m glad I read it, but I understand why there are so many abriged versions. Slogged in the middle and was easy to set down. Lots to discuss in the review.

Finished "The Devils" for our book club: 3.5 stars. Entertaining & there's obvious well written qualities to any Abercrombie book, but this one had some hiccups. Overall good, not great. Will elaborate as to why our review. In the meantime, onto Monte Cristo!
