I think it's also fun to note that when Michkov wasn't playing under a hard-ass (Torts, Tocc) and was under Brad Shaw, he averaged 20 mins a night and had 12 points in 9 games (6g-6a), 10 of them at even-strength 🤷♂️

The Flyers were GIFTED Matvei Michkov in the 2023 draft. He WANTED to play for the Flyers, came over 2 years early to do so and had a fantastic rookie season. Fast fwd and we have people on Twitter arguing shift length and fucking speed bursts to defend a clueless coach. Unreal

Couple months ago I was absolutely mauled for saying the Flyers string of luck would run out eventually. People just said "who cares, they won?". I hope that crowd still feels the same way when the Flyers miss the playoffs, get another mid 1st rounder and run it back next year
