Here is the latest tropical weather outlook: The attention of the Caribbean is now turning away from #AL90 (red) to #AL99 (orange), which now has a 50% chance of formation, as it heads toward the area. Continue to monitor.

Showers are still likely but more centred around this morning, with amounts unlikely to reach an inch (less than 25 mm). There is still also the possibility of thunderstorms. Continue to monitor.

#TropicalDisturbance_AL90 has lost a notable amount of size, clouds and showers since yesterday, and is tending to track more north, pulling showers away as opposed to west toward the islands.

The #TropicalDisturbance near the #Caribbean is expected to bring showers and thunderstorms to the #AntiguaAndBarbuda and the rest of the northeast Caribbean. Possible rainfall totals from it: 0.5-1.0 inch (12-25 mm). A slight or 10% chance of totals exceeding 4 inches (100 mm).

Monitoring of the two disturbances east of the islands continues. No significant change has occurred over the last 24 hrs; the one closest to the islands looks to be on a path north of the area. The forecast cont. to call for showers and thunderstorms on Friday, from the system.
