Recently, we hosted a fantastic Dining-In Night with most cadets and their parents in attendance, along with a special visit from Gp Capt Paul Beaver. It was an evening of celebration, awards, and camaraderie, leaving everyone with unforgettable memories!

Wednesday saw a contingent of four cadets from 2204 squadron travel to Brize Norton to experience life on an RAF base. It was an incredible action-packed day with tours around the A400M Altas and C17 Globemaster, as well as a visit to the station fire department!

Last friday, four of our cadets were selected to go flying in an Air Experience Flight at RAF Benson. With perfect weather, all cadets were able to have a flight in the Grob Tutor, including aerobatics.

Last night CI Reuter delivered a mess etiquette presentation in order to prepare the cadets for the dining in night on Friday. They learnt about what to do in the royal toast and about the tradition of passing the port. Looking forward to an incredible evening!

In commemoration of those who gave their lives in service of our country, 2204 squadron took part in Chesham’s Remembrance Parade. Thank you to all who showed to pay their respects. We will remember them.

In commemoration of the Battle of Britain, a contingent of our cadets attended a service to remember those who gave their life in service of our country. Well done to all cadets who volunteered to pay their respects.

A huge congratulations to our newly promoted Flight Sergeant, FS Verrinder. This is not an easy process and includes a rigorous uniform inspection, assessment and interview. We look forward to seeing him step up into his new role! 🎉

This summer, two of our cadets were lucky enough to be selected for the National Air and Space Camp. The action-packed week included gliding, flight sim training, an airshow at RAF Syerston, and so much more! It truly lived up to its reputation as the best camp available✈️

Monday night saw the long awaited restart of the squadron band. It was great to see so many cadets interested in joining and we look forward to practising and strengthening our squadron’s band!!! 🥁🎺

Five members of our NCO team were lucky enough to be some of the first to be taught the new bronze fieldcraft syllabus using blank firing and pyrotechnics. The weekend included a fire and manoeuvre demo on the last day with a look forward to silver fieldcraft👏👏👏

On the 13th and 14th April cadets from across the sector took part in blue fieldcraft training at 2204 squadron where they learnt about why things are seen, how to set up different types of bashas and personal admin in the field. Congratulations to all you took part!

On Wednesday night the cadets got to experience an introduction into fieldcraft which included camouflage and concealment. The cadets also got to take part in a challenging fieldcraft exercise using the skills learned 💪

A huge congratulations 🎉 to CWO Hemsworth who has successfully completed the Junior Leaders course and was awarded the Kriege award for being the most resourceful and resilient across the whole training period, one of only five cadets to win an award.🎖️👏.

Over the past few weeks some of our corporals have been going through the rigorous promotion process including assessments and interviews. Congratulations to Sergeant Malin and Sergeant Crouch on your promotions!!! 🎉🎉🎉

Over 100 cadets, including 7 from 2204 Squadron, took part in the pre-match banner ceremony for the Carabao Cup Final. It was an incredible day, with the highlight being the walk out onto the pitch with a full stadium watching followed by an intense and very close game. 🏆⚽

On the 4th of February, to mark 83 years since the formation of the Air Training Corps, some of our cadets represented 2204 squadron at ATC Sunday. There was a short service followed by a parade of our squadron banner. Thank you to everyone who was there on the day to support us.

Recently cadets from across the sector completed the Blue Radio Course hosted at 2204 Squadron where they learnt about prowords, radio conduct, safety and the phonetic alphabet. Well done to all those who attended! . #aircadets #whatwedo
