Greetings on the historic occasion of the official inaugural of Meluri District. The day marks the beginning of a new chapter of growth, development, and progress for the people of this region.

Meluri, the youngest district, proudly joined the nation in celebrating the #76thRepublicDay with great fervour and enthusiasm. Shri @znnyuthe , Hon’ble MLA & Advisor, N&RE, NSDMA, GoN unfurled the National Flag and took the Rashtriya Salute.

He further noted, ‘In order to succeed, one must be willing to pay the price — a price that often comes in the form of restraint, sacrifice, and dedication’.

He emphasized the importance of introspecting and retrospecting on the remarkable 50-year journey. He highlighted that “a thousand-mile journey begins with a single step,” and stressed the need for persistence and determination to take one step at a time toward progress.

Shri @znnyuthe, Hon’ble MLA & Advisor, N&RE, NSDMA graced the Golden Jubilee celebration of Matikhrü Students’ Union held today under the theme “Recollect, Reconnect, Reorient”.

Wrapping up the Statewide Mock Earthquake Disaster Exercise, Shri @znnyuthe, Hon'ble Advisor, NSDMA, N&RE alongside Maj. Gen. Sudhir Bahl (Retd), Lead Consultant, NDMA, MHA & Shri Johnny Ruangmei, Jt. CEO, NSDMA, briefed the media at the SEOC, Capital Convention Centre, Kohima.

He added that under the dynamic leadership of Sh. @Neiphiu_Rio, HCM, our state has experienced a paradigm shift towards meritocracy, ensuring fairness and equal opportunities for all, which inspires the younger generation to strive for success through hard work and sincerity.

Speaking at the event, he expressed concern over the persistent lack of trust within the Naga community, urging unity to foster collective progress. He emphasized that development is achievable only by setting aside differences and renewing the spirit of cooperation.

Shri @znnyuthe, Hon'ble MLA & Advisor, N&RE, NSDMA, today inaugurated the Kithagha Village Gate and Multi Utility Building at Kithagha & Chunlikha villages in the presence of Ar. @Jwenga_Seb, Hon'ble MLA & Chairman, DPDB Tseminyu.

These exercises aim to assess the state's readiness for disaster scenarios, specifically focusing on earthquake preparedness. The events will involve coordination between multiple stakeholders, including district authorities, emergency response teams, and paramilitary forces.

Shri @znnyuthe, Hon'ble MLA & Advisor, N&RE, NSDMA, delivered the Keynote Address at the coordination meeting with various line departments. This meeting served as a precursor to the Table Top Exercise scheduled for Oct. 22 and the State Mock Exercise on Oct. 24.

He commended the school for its role as a beacon of hope, nurturing students to face the challenges of tomorrow. He urged the students to seize the opportunities before them and encourage them to dream big, work diligently, and persevere in their pursuits.

The event marked 50 years of educational excellence and service to the community, honoring the pioneers for their vision and dedication in laying the foundation for the school's success.
