This weekend was the annual southern50. This year record attendance. We were 8th in 50k and won the 50 mile event. Nathan also competed his king scout hike of over 10k in his electric wheelchair a first for the southern50 event. Well done to all that took part and the organisers

Monday night was ready steady cook for scouts in preparation for the competition this weekend.

Please don’t forget that this Sunday is Remembrance Day parade. Please be at Highbury fields (swimming pool end) at 9:40am in full smart uniform with a poppy so we can join the parade down to the memorial at Islington Green

Today was the annual Chiltern 20 challenge hike. Well done to all the teams who took part and the organisers. Junior event we were 4th and in the senior 7th and 1st.

Last weekend we had 5 teams take part in the annual southern50 competition hike. 30k event our scout teams came 18th and 1st place. 50k event our young leader team came 41st and our adult team came 6th. In the 50 mile event we came second by just a 9 minute difference.

201st Islington cub/beaver camp 2024 Bounds Green
