People forget Sherwood Park would have won the AJHL in 2020. There is a way to the top, Okotoks, Fort Mac, Bonny I’ll have the recipe. There is a way to the top and it’s based on players wanting to prove themselves.
Since 2009, Brooks and Spruce Grove are the only teams to win the AJHL. I get they’re good organizations with a shit ton of money to toss around, but it’s no wonder junior hockey is losing interest in markets by the season as every team and fan knows their local club has no shot.
