“Don’t get a big-head over it. Obviously I trust ya’ enough,” Barret says with a scoff. A playful, subtle one as he averts his gaze momentarily. “But don’t got much option either. Plus, I see how ya’ fight. Can’t say that doesn’t put my mind at ease.”.
Now, he wasn't expecting to hear him say that. But it does make him smile that Barret trusts him enough to do that. And, of course, he's smiling internally. 〝Babysit? Are you sure?〞.
