It’s official!

Today Mayor Deegan signed Bill 2024-905 which provides the remaining @cityofjax funding for the Community Benefits Agreement portion of the @Jaguars Stadium of the Future agreement! 🖊️

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Stadium of the Future Community Huddle tonight. The 5th and final Community Huddle with @MayorDeegan, @Jaguars President Mark Lamping, and Lead Negotiator for the City, Mike Weinstein is tomorrow, 5/30 at Westside H.S. starting at 6pm.

Stadium of the Future huddles are underway & there are 2 more opportunities to hear from Mayor Donna Deegan, @jaguars President Mark Lamping & Mike Weinstein, @cityofjax Lead Negotiator: tomorrow at Sandalwood High School (6 pm) & Th., 5/30 at Westside High School (6 pm).

Along with @cityofjax we are hosting 5 Stadium of the Future Community Huddles for residents to learn more about the proposed stadium deal, and ask questions. These events are free & open to the public, with no registration required:

A huge thank you to everyone who came out last night for our Jacksonville Small and Emerging Business Engagement Event with @PCLConstruction and @CityofJax.

Work continues at the Shipyards site — currently, rebar cages are being inserted into the auger-cast deep piles to strengthen and support the building foundation.🏗️

🎓 Today we celebrated 19 area students who graduated from our sixth Construction Ready class. Area companies that hired Class 6 graduates include: Terracon, Acousti Engineering Company, Integrative Construction Group, American Build Supply & Webber. 👏🏾

This Friday evening, @jaguars President Mark Lamping will continue the momentum surrounding our Stadium of the Future vision by hosting a community huddle in Nassau County. It's free to attend, and no sign up is required.

🗣 Attention @Jaguars fans in Clay, St. Johns & Nassau! Join us next week as we continue our series of Stadium of the Future community huddles. Team President Mark Lamping will share our vision for the sports & entertainment district, conceptual renderings & answer questions.

Participants in class 6 of our free-to-students, instructor-led workforce training program, @constructionready, are working together to build a picnic table. 🪚 This hands on activity helps prepare them for graduation on September 22.

We've been busy mixing soil & installing deep piles as we continue foundation work at the Shipyards.
