Today, we said goodbye to my Dad at a very fitting service in Edinburgh surrounded by family & friends.
Despite it being an impossibly emotional day, I can’t have asked for a better sendoff. He’d have loved it.

I’ve not tweeted this until now as I’ve not had the strength, but my Dad passed away peacefully in his sleep last week after a short battle with cancer.
His passing has not hit me yet, but what has really struck me is the generosity, thoughtfulness and love from my friends
