IF YOU WANT TO MAKE IT IN APEX READ THIS THREAD. How to learn from failure and improve: In a game like Apex, trying to improve purely by looking at hindsight factors would net you little to no improvement as a battle royale inherently will not have repeatable scenarios that you.

HOW TO ACCELERATE IMPROVEMENT. The most important part after you recognize what you want to improve on is to make it a point to consciously focus on it before each game. By actively thinking about it, you'll gradually build it into your subconscious and that aspect will become.

True IGLs: There are very few people in apex that I would consider a “True IGL” and that stems from how they can operate and prepare a team. Some traits that define a leader are the ability to express win/lose conditions, prep for plays to be made and keeping all players on the.

Playing for maximum points over winning every game: An extremely simple concept of analyzing your situation to form a play to give yourself the best chance to gain the most points rather than ALWAYS thinking of how to win the game even when in positions that are almost guaranteed.

Playing for your life: There is tunnel vision when taking fights knowing there is a decent chance of being thirded that the focus of the fight is to completely wipe the team from the spot you want or punish them for making a mistake. Understanding getting 1 or 2 kills without.

Proactive and Reactive decision making: Make out proactive plans at the start of each game that is vocalized to the team and stuck to as the main objective of the game that can be based on zone ending, power positions, crafters, beacon, etc. You make the game easier for yourself.

COMMUNICATION: While comms are generally a pretty obvious point of emphasis, there is a lack of focus on communication revolving around the idea of team-playmaking. Constant and concise comms to help be able to know exactly what your teammates are doing and how to capitalize off.

Letting a lobby play out by itself: When you approach the later stages in the game, every placement matters. Inaction can sometimes be your best action as you can commit no risk and gain massive amounts of points in ring 4+ scenarios. Being able to identify where teams are.

Determining “Fight Value”: A lot of teams do not consider how valuable a fight is and often tunnel vision on taking direct 3v3s for nothing outside of 3 points. Teams should always consider what is the risk to reward when engaging in fights whether that be for position or loot.
