I got my first @raycast extension published! It lets you quickly search and pull up Shopify developer docs, including GraphQL queries. Big thanks to @TRPage_dev for introducing me to Raycast and to @approxhuman for inspiring me with his extension to search the Polaris docs

The new Shopify admin intents are pretty cool. Makes it super easy to pop in and edit a one-off product if you need to. The set up was quick too and only took a couple lines of code

Another good reason/reminder to make sure you have managed installations setup for your app. I realized we had one app still using the old install method but that's been fixed now 🫣

Shopify's web components make it so much easier to design admin blocks. I never could get a nice table layout before but now you just need <s-table>

This is a pretty cool change, you can now whitelist automatic crawlers to your online store for things like end-to-end testing

Today I learned the format for constants in the GraphQL API (uppercase with underscores) can be referred to as SCREAMING_SNAKE_CASE. I like that.

The numbers are rough, as apps can be in multiple top-level categories, but it seems to make sense that more stores leaving reviews in the 'Finding products' category might eventually close. You can also look up the numbers for a specific app at

According to our data on AppNavigator, the Shopify App Store archived about 50%, or 600k, of its reviews yesterday. Apps in the 'Finding products' category lost ~60% on average while the 'Orders and shipping' category lost ~30% of their reviews on average.
