I feel like I’m losing my mind…. This is an anti-ICE protest in Charlotte NC. Where were the protests when Iryna Zarutska was stabbed to death? Where was the outrage? Where were speeches? Where were the signs? Where were the flags? I don't understand.

This is the "ICE OUT!" protest in Black Mountain NC, about a 15 minute drive from Asheville NC. AGAIN, nearly every single person here at this rally is white and over the age of 65. You cannot make this up!!!

These are the protestors that "organically" showed up in Charlotte NC to protest ICE. What do you notice about the protestors? Do you see it???

The more I go to these anti-ICE protests and see who shows up... The more and more convinced I am that this is primarily a white, older, liberal women's movement. It's EXTREMELY rare to see ANYONE of color or ANYONE in their 20s. Can anyone explain to me why this is the case?
