Why did we create Leo?. Because ZK adoption requires developer accessibility. Developers shouldn't need a PhD in cryptography to build private apps. Leo borrows familiar syntax from JavaScript, TypeScript and Rust, abstracting away the complex math while enabling ZK.

Here's my take:. Privacy isn't optional for real-world adoption, it's fundamental infrastructure. Without it, we're building a mass surveillance financial system by default. Private stablecoins must exist first as the foundation. The on/off ramp challenge is significant but.
Extremely common crypto refrainโฆ. But wtf is my cousin in rural India going to do with USDC? With Wise he can buy groceries a few seconds after I hit send. Stables are ~useless without on and off-ramps, and those are the reasons this map looks like it does.

On 1), by my definition of more efficient, re-executing 10 seconds of computation per block by 3000+ nodes equates to 30,000+ seconds (or 8.5 hours) of wasted work per 10 second block.
